SPIRAL INGRANAGGI IS FIRST OF ALL A TECHNOLOGICAL AND PROJECT PARTNER

We are experts in the cylindric and bevel gears components and from the first design phases we are able to cooperate by identifying the most suitable materials and to the engineering of the component in order to satisfy the most innovative requests and to optimize the costs.
Over 25 years of cooperation and co-design with our Customers allow us to transfer competitive advantages to our Clients. Converting from Klingelnberg to Gleason system is a routine process for SPIRAL. Modern computing and development systems allow the best support to our Customers:

  • Data management Gleason G-AGE,
  • Analysis software Gleason CAGE incl. T.C.A.
  • Kiss-soft software
  • Strenght and durability calculation software
How it works

1

PHASE 1

DEFINITION OF THE CUSTOMER REQUEST

First analysis of the project. Preliminary study on the materials and on thefunctional of the component.

PHASE 2

CO-ENGINEERING

In this phase TFM supports the customer project team and can count on the collaboration of a multidisciplinary team where each member, by leveraging in acquired skills and knowledge can propose improvements/suggestions to enhance the component.

Focus: Comprehension of the technical-functional customer’s needs and joint analysis to identify all the possible improvements and the subsequent industrial optimization.

PHASE 3

PRODUZIONE PROTOTIPI

This production is necessary to concretely check the correctness of decisions taken during the previous phases and to allow the customer to do a first field check of the manufactured components

PHASE 4

SUPPORT DURING THE DEVELOPMENT PHASE

The test phase on prototypes allows, by continuous feedback on field results, to modify, if necessary, the specifications previously defined and to improve the component until its final definition.

Focus: bringing the project to a higher definition and perfection level in terms of efficiencyand efficacy. The feedbacks are useful to do all the necessary changes to full satisfy the technical-functional requirements and to optimize the component cost.

PHASE 5

PPAP (PRODUCTION PART APPROVAL PROCESS)

First mass production approach. Higher quantity production samples (defined by the Customer) characterized by so called “mass production conditions”. Mass production conditions mean that all those conditions (materials/machinery/methods) must be respected during the manufacturing process to guarantee the product suitability.

In this phase the materials/machinery/methods are freezed and they will be the only valid ones for the mass production.

PHASE 6

MASS PRODUCTION

  • Conclusion of the project
  • PPAP samples approval
  • Actual start of the production and the supply according to the agreement
